6th Bridlington Scouts Given Funding

The Lords Feoffees gave funding to the 6th Bridlington Scouts for the hire of the Scout building at Kettleness for a long weekend of scouting activity.

Thank you so much to the Lords Feoffees for paying for this beautiful accommodation for us to take the Scout to Kettleness. This beautiful old Railway station is owned by the Kettleness Scouts and it really is fantastic. It was a much needed first weekend away as a group because of the covid pandemic of which we had only previously been meeting up over zoom. Because of your kind generosity we managed to go to Whitby and go crabbing, on the beach and do a taster session of surfing. But mainly we stayed at Kettleness and went brambling, played games, walked through the woods gathering up kindling for our camp fires and walked to Runswick Bay.
