Scholar Graduates with FDA in Floristry Design

Lords Feoffees scholarship student, Christine Blackham, has successfully completed an FDA in Floristry Design from Bishop Burton College.

Christine, who chose to return to education in later life, is one of a number of mature students to receive a Lords Feoffees scholarship.

Over two years Christine has studied modules covering floristry practice, bridal design, the business of floristry, and more.

Working as Team Bishop Burton, Christine and her course colleagues achieved a silver award at the Harrogate Flower Show 2024 with their floral Medusa head (pictured.)

Reflecting on her time at college Christine told the Lords Feoffees, “without your financial help I could not have achieved this Degree and I will forever be grateful.”
