Join our team as a Maintenance Operative
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (plus call outs)
Rate of Pay: £30,225 per annum.
Holiday Allowance: Statutory.
We are looking for a Maintenance Operative to:
- deliver an effective and efficient general maintenance service to all properties and land areas owned by the Lords Feoffees
- complete routine, preventative, and emergency internal and external repairs to properties and their equipment, fixtures, fittings, and building systems
- conduct property inspections and liaise with external specialists and contractors when required
The successful candidate will have:
- a qualification in a construction trade (e.g. City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3)
- a full UK driving licence
- a proven track record in general building repairs
- previous experience in domestic or commercial property maintenance, social housing, or facilities management
- the ability to pivot between different trades efficiently and manage multiple tasks
- the capability to diagnose faults and implement effective and cost-conscious repairs
- the ability to perform manual labour, lift heavy objects, and work at heights
- strong interpersonal skills to deal professionally with tenants, contractors, and other relevant professionals
